Yes, it remained in progress for one week before it was updated to completed. Is this a good sign, or it may still mean I didn't pass the test?
No, It means they have accepted your Test. No need to worry. If there were issues they would have never put complete in it except Background checks.

My Wife completed her test on Saturday and had confirmation of pass (18/20), but yep it's still showing as 'In Progress' and not 'Complete,' I did mine on the same day and it changed to 'Complete' by Monday, so I'm hoping it still goes through ok......Oh and we were doing ours from outside of Can (In the UK)

I thought is not allowed to do it from outside Canada. I'm flying back to Canada only for my test

I just passed it from France. In my invite, I was told I needed to contact them if I was away from Canada and wanted to pass the test. They replied to still confirm I was in Canada even though I wasn't but that it was okay to pass the test from abroad.

Thank you. That's assuring. I was started to worry especially I haven't heard back from them since my test was updated to completed

What was their answer? they just said yes go ahead?
And the test windows stay the same?
So mine didn't answer within 30 mins.....god if they do that then you're very lucky, mine took a couple of days to get the 'green light' from them....

So they sent an email for test....I had to email back saying I want to do it outside of canada as per their email, they then re-sent another email asking me if I want to do it outside of canada (strange as they already have that answer)....I said yes again and emailed.....finally they responded saying use original link.
Test window for me was the same as I had 3 weeks left on it.....for my wife it was the same BUT her 'green light' was received 24 hours after her link window expired but she'd already taken the test 48 hours prior as we knew that CIC aren't the best at communicating promptly and actually reading what someone has sent them.....before they send repeated emails asking the same thing......just waiting on her status to be updated as she 'passed' the test

It’s been over two months since I had the decision and I’m still waiting for the invitation to the oath, I’m in Montreal and there has been very little ceremony in the last few months. Is it possible that the IRCC is waiting to resume the face-to-face oath ?

I got my DM 07/21 and i was wondering the same thing if they planning in person oath as i see no one from MTL office getting oath invites. Honestly i try to set it and forget it because to follow up this process is like a nightmare.

Does hiring a citizenship lawyer make difference when the applicant does not have from IRCC explanation of the delay? (2016 citizenship application!)

It will send you a notification, just wait it for several days. No worry.
Thanks. It has been a month now. When I called IRCC they said that there is an update saying retest is needed, but no date has been given yet. I have also not received any email. Since its been a month I am getting a bit anxious. When did you receive the restest notification after the 1st test
