Well, the "average" processing time is 12 days based on 8 data points.

The dataset isn't large enough to make a prediction. And the timeline varies from applicant to applicant (even between applicants in the same office).

So, assume it'll take at least a month or two from DM to oath to avoid disappointment.

The first four steps were all at the average speed, but three months after test, no forward notice. Hope the fifth step will also be the average time.

Got an update in tracker that they have sent me an email requesting fingerprints but I haven't received the email yet. Anyone has any idea how much time it will take to receive the email after the update in the tracker?

@harirajmohan @rajkamalmohanram

I received my test invite email today with the attached PDF for the instructions etc.
That same PDF has a request letter to send scanned copies of passport/ travel documents that I need to send within 30 days.

My questions are:
1. The PDF says that the max file size of the attachment can be 5MB. Does that mean I have to make a single file with everything included OR there should be a separate file for each of the documents? I have 2 passports and one translation package. So it will be 3 documents for me.

2. It also says that "Save the document with your name and application number. Example: "Smith-Cxxxxxxxxx". This sentence gives the impression that there should only be one file. Because multiple files can't have the same name.

3. PDF says, in your reply change the subject line to your last name and application number. The actual email doesn't have anything like that in its body and the subject line is too long that includes "Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada - Communication to client/Immigration, Réfugiés et Citoyenneté Canada - Communication auprès de la clientèle - IRCC <MY LOCAL OFFICE> <APP NO>". Should I remove everything else and add my last name and app no. OR I just need to add my last name and keep everything else as is?

Thanks in advance.

1. AFAIK, the total size is 5 MB. Try to have everything under 5 MB.
2. Well, you can add all the passports under 1 file. Just make sure you have an index page for each passport to differentiate.
3. Do NOT change the subject line if the subject line already contains your application number.
