I have submitted TR2PR application on May 6, 11.34am PST, and haven't received AOR yet. I will keep both these applications in process.

Hi, what do you mean by using the previous bio-metric? I used the UCI number of my old application, is that what you did?
I have also applied both to tr to pr and EE cec .
My tr to pr was applied at 12:46 am est on May 6.
I realized that tr to pr is no longer first in first out processing. so, there are chances that my tr to pr application may not get picked up this year. hence, on the safer side, I applied to ee cec too on jul 22.
I hoped that ircc will give more clarity/transparency on tr to pr processing timelines, but that program is up in the air, all bets are off.

I have received the ITA in the recent CEC draw and the Medical was done as part of Work Permit in Jan 2020, came to Canada in Feb 2020 and have not left the country after Feb 2020 till now. Could someone please confirm if we need to do the medical test again. Planning to submit the application by mid Aug 2021. Thanks.

Medicals are now valid for 5 years. As long as you have not left Canada for more than 6 months you can use same old medical. Optionally, you can attach LOE. Good luck!

Need some help and expert advise
My closed work permit is valid till Dec 2021 and the company has visibility for 2022 end so had asked to apply for an extension.
1. Should I apply for WP extension now and then submit PR application? I don't want my company to know about my PR application.
2. If I submit for PR application by Aug mid, can I still plan to submit the Work Permit extension by Sept or Oct. Will this cause an issue?
3. My spouse is on Open work permit based on my closed WP and daughter is on dependent visitor visa. We have applied for TRV in Feb 20 but it's still awaited.
Do we need to wait for TRV to come before we apply for an extension?

Don't you have to submit new medical exam / biometrics for your second EE application, since your second application probably has a different GCKey, client-id?
