The disparity between application files is insane.

yes it is , probably depends on the area of country you live in . or who is back working

Called today and was told basically that due to covid ,
And being short staff. what my file shows is where its at . no time line was given , and no reason for why nothing has not been looked at since 23rd april . it still showed on there side case was still in progress .
so just sit and wait

Does anyone have any idea when the updates happen? Is it all throughout the day or only in the mornings?

I don't want to keep checking every now and then..

Just check at the end of the day. That way it doesn't matter whether they happen throughout the day or only in the morning.

Hi Guys
finally received an update on my file. Today all sections are updated to completed except citizenship ceremony is not started. Hope to receive the invite soon. I did not get any interview invite and all sections complete now so wont be getting interview now. Test passed and completed since may2 nd.
Status updated in evening or later part of afternoon today not in the morning… for those who are curious a out the time.

plz update the sheet.

but in all honesty , i am done chasing up the government !
i understand that its a long process, but when i know people that applied after me , and sat there test not to long ago are now just waiting for the oath ceremony. seems like i have fallen threw the cracks .
thank goodness for permeant residency. maybe when that expires in 4 yrs they will have caught up on the backlog .

Hey guys,

I just checked ecas and saw that it was already updated to Decision Made. Checked the tracker as well and the statuses that were In Progress are now updated to Completed. It was updated July 20th. Citizenship Ceremony still shows Not Started. The case is the same for my husband as well. However, my 10 year old son’s tracker and ecas still shows In Progress, I wonder why that’s the case.

So long journey have 6passport I have to send all pages to them as they requested.
