CEC Applicants - MAY 2021 - timeline & updates

Hi All,

Application submitted : May 8th, 2021
AOR: May 8th, 2021
Medicals passed : May 28th, 2021
Biometric invitation letter : May 28th, 2021 and gave biometrics on June 1st, 2021
After that no update.
I just called IRCC to get some update on my application. The lady who spoke to me said everything is passed only security check is pending.
My question is that I have already submitted my PCC what is this security check ? Has anyone had same kind of situation OR reply from IRCC?

Please advise. :>

I just checked cic and it said my application was updated but there was nothing changed
Does this mean ghost update?? If so how long will take to finalize the decision??

Just to wish all of you faster processing. I observed your VO is one of the major factor in delay/ quick processing. My VO was Calgary and from my experience they are quite fast. These are the break up of cumulative time taken by them.
AOR - medical : 18 days
Medical - portal request : 45 days
Portal - credentials : 1 day
Credentials - copr : 1 day
IRCC : updated to approved same day as copr received
Copr - PR card : Lets see

I am AOR 15th May, I only got one update after MEP on June 11, which my Background changed, then nothing, it is quiet since then

It looks like I'm almost done. Summing up:

CEC Inland with 3 inland dependents.
ITA - Feb. 13, 2021
AOR - May 5
MEP - June 3
BIO - June 9
GU1 - Jul 21
Portal email - Jul 21
Portal creds - Jul 22
eCOPR - Jul23
No calls, no gcms requests. The portal email came from Virtual Landing Unit, so I don't know which office processed the case.

It's so unexpected but so pleasant - less than 3 month.

Wish you all shorter timelines.

Have patience, eventually You will get it very soon.

As far as I know, PR is not only for 5 years, it can be renewed every 5 year so as long as you renew it, it should be lifetime, but still it is better if somebody verifies this.

Raised a webform for medical 3 days ago no response

Called IRCC today...they said they haven't started evaluating the medicals yet. However they said I have passed the criminality check and have started my spouse's criminality check.

Nothing happened after the update I received for my Background on 11 June. It changed from processing to in progress, and stuck there

Does this mean I need to wait for my E-Copr??
