Citizenship Test invitation

Hello everyone. My husband just checked the online status & it says your next step is Citizenship test from July 23 to August 12. But we didn’t got any email from cic. Moreover rite now my husband is stuck outside canada due to the travel ban on direct flights. And the indirect routes are very expensive. Is there any chance that we can request IRCC for letting my husband to give test outside canada. Thank you if anyone can answer.

Your husband will get email 1-2 days before the test. So expect the mail to come either today or tomorrow.

IRCC is allowing to take test outside Canada. Just follow instructions as per invite letter and send IRCC email for permission to take test outside Canada and should be good.

Wait for the email.
The instructions to request for taking test outside Canada will be in the email. Yes they are allowing to take it from outside hence you dont need to travel and spend time and money.

I think that you can take the test after they enable something for your profile within the same time window. I havent seen people talking about receiving new invite instead they attended the test in the usual way within the same time frame.

hello. So we just got invitation email 20 mins ago. but the problem is, it says let us know if you are outside canada within 24-48 hrs from the date of this letter. so the problem is, the letter date is 20 July 2021 & today its 22 July. it is more than 48 hrs now. So what to do I don't know. Should we mail them now or what?????? please if anyone can help.

There is nothing wrong to reply now. They just generated a new invite with the option of taking test outside canada but with teh same test range. changing test date range is a different process hence they dont want to delay and trouble more. So dont worry on that.

Please do reply and ask for permitting to take test outside of canada. SEnd to the email given in the new invite.

Thanks for the info. So now we have inform IRCC that we are outside Canada. So now IRCC will Contact us.
So my concern is how long will they take to Respond back now????? Whats gonna be the next step????
Anybody have any idea about that.

In that link you can see that they respond very very fast. So within hours. but you have 3 weeks hence you can very well wait for few days and start studying. They will surely respond with a day or two.

so u emailed IRCC twice. How many days after from your first email, you got final reply from IRCC.
what you have asked in your 2nd email???? Please share.
sorry if I am asking too much. Actually m worried because now I have emailed them that I am outside Canada, so having tension that when will I get chance to do test now.

Yes you are asking many questions. You should wait. You have lot of time. They are allowing everyone. There is no preset of qualification required to get it approved. Its not me who emailed to them.
