Is there anyway to push for a file to be done urgently??this Dar es Salaam office is slow even in reponding to web forms..they don’t easily respond as other offices!!!!!

There is nothing you can at this point
, just wait and see. Other ways you can order your Gcms notes or you can get your MP involved.:

Thank you for your prompt response looking on your timeline it seems that it was after 3 months that they requested medicals.Hopefully this will apply to us as well

Has anyone here tried getting medical done before the request, just to speed things up a bit?
Just received sponsor approval and file transferred to DAR. But it looks like there is a long queue of people ahead.

I don’t think that’s allowed.
They have to request the medical first, then u can do it.

Do you know a specific rule forbidding it? I have seen many people do it on the main sponsorship forum here.

They have to send u a request with reference number and with all your details.

The only reference you need is an application number (for the principal applicant).
I'm going to do it as soon as lockdown back home is lifted.

Hello it looks that the DAR VO is very slow, i was praying for my file to be sent to Pretoria, my file got transferto Dar-Es-Lam on May 19 up to now no news!!! It seems like it is very slow office. Let just be positive

I've seen something on the IRCC website that mentions upfront medical (but only for Express Entry)
Family sponsorship upfront medical not advised. I will wait for instructions.

We were staying in South Africa before relocate to Zambia, my two siblings were dealing with the Pretoria office which was very super fast compared to Dar-es-laam. My little one application was transfered to Dar-es-Salaam just after we moved to Zambia
