can spouse work for Québec while the principle CEC file in progress

I am the principle applicant and i am working form Ontario, recently my wife got a job in Quebec and for next couple of months it is remote and later partially in office which we can still manage from Ontario

But can she work for a Quebec based company while the file is in process ?

If IRCC hears that your wife is working in Quebec, they may ask you to have a CSQ.

They "may" ask you, doesn't mean they will. Don't pass up a good opportunity because of paperwork.

You may also get a procedural fairness letter if you're working in Quebec while claiming not to work there - but again, if the job is good, don't give up.
