I am trying for internal transfer as well, lets see !!You are opening a can of worms now - I had already booked an open ticket with BA (since it offers free cancellation/modification of dates before April 2022). I got a brilliant deal direct from BA and this was before the rates shot up. But I think the situation for travel is complicated due to the fact that Indians need to go to a 3rd country, get a COVID negative report and then fly to Canada. It's a costly affair of around 1500 CAD and mutiply that for dependents .
I would say evaluate your personal situation, especially with regard to work, etc and make the moves. Thankfully, my company is taking care of an internal transfer and they are willing to wait till this situation blows over - but I'll move by end of Sept/Oct maybe?? I do want to avoid the 3rd country travel, but let's see.
*Do we want to discuss this in another thread?? We don't want to distract the focus of the conversations here for the benefit of others who are behind in the process.
Thank you. my parents are planning to travel to Canada on their existing visitor visa on sep 8 before the 6 months validity date for passport approaches in sep last week. can they get medicals done in india and still travel to canada and may be submit passport here in canada for PR visa stamping?Several members on the forum have received their medical request within 2-3 weeks of the email, though it’s been 3 months for me and counting.
You can surely get the remedicals done and get a new passport in Canada. I do hope your parents are able to travel within the next 1.5 months. Canada extended the travel ban from India (direct flights) till 21st August, but since there are a lot of students waiting to travel to Canada as well for their September classes, I’m a bit hopeful the flight ban shouldn’t be extended further.
Indirect Form (page 3) is only when your passport is being submitted/collected by person you authorize. Think should be left blank incase you are handing your passport to CVAC AND will receive your passport - both yourselfHi guys do we have to submit indirect consent form and biometric consent form ? It specifically asks I give permission to canda application centre in city name to give / receive my documents from/to ______( what to to be put in here?)
name of person to submit applicationor receive decision _____( spouse name??)
please can any one advice
Nd do we mark biometric consent form as yes ?
If you have already done with your biometrics, then just mention the Date and Place where you gave them or leave them blank.Hi guys do we have to submit indirect consent form and biometric consent form ? So the package has my spouses documents but I will be handing those over to courier guy.. so shall we fill that ?Indirect Form (page 3) is only when your passport is being submitted/collected by person you authorize. Biometric Fomr (page 4), I think we need to fill in section which says - Applicant wishing to provide Biometrics. I am still trying to figure this out though.
I agree - I think that's the least risk averse approach.Thank you. my parents are planning to travel to Canada on their existing visitor visa on sep 8 before the 6 months validity date for passport approaches in sep last week. can they get medicals done in india and still travel to canada and may be submit passport here in canada for PR visa stamping?
Handwritten is fine. Print actually means - writing text clearly without joining them (like in cursive writing).Hey guys, even I received the AWB email last night. It has the same 3-5 days mentioned in it.
One question: the consent form says "printed" next to the applicant name. Do we actually have to type it on a computer or will hand written do?
I have filled that section only for minors. So the package has my spouses documents but I will be handing those over to courier guy.. so shall we fill that ?
Thanks a lot for clarifying!Handwritten is fine. Print actually means - writing text clearly without joining them (like in cursive writing).
If you are going to hand over your spouses' package, then I think your spouses' consent form page 3 should be filled. So the package has my spouses documents but I will be handing those over to courier guy.. so shall we fill that ?
