Hello Maria.

What's your intake? I am also waiting for the final decision. I applied in the last week of march and my eligibility passed on 6th June (confirmed via calling IRCC) but no update since then. Also, I am not getting any ghost updates for almost 1.5 months.

For fall intake, IRCC mentioned finalizing all applications before 6th August but it seems difficult that they finalize all applications.

Dear, you can use a VPN and calling app. But make sure to set your location to Canada before calling. Use textme/textnow/2number to call.

If you still haven’t received the decision, you should raise a webform and mention your passport request on gcms in it. One of my friends did this, and he got his ppr within 2 days.

It is absolutely fine.. As I said my friend did this and he got his ppr.. In fact I also have a screenshot of the email he had sent to the embassy.. He clearly specified that there is a passport request pending. Also, I am waiting for my gcms notes to come, my eligibility passed 2 months ago but they are also not issuing my ppr.. so as soon as I receive my gcms notes, I am also going to send an email to the embassy.

No, I won’t recommend that to you.. If you want to contact them, you should contact directly on the embassy’s official email address. Also, if you need that screenshot, i can send it to your email address.
As far as my application is concerned, I raised two webforms and then left it. I will get my GCMS on 2nd August and then decide. My situation is different than yours because my university’s refund/study permit approval time is till 17th September.

ive sent several email to my designated visa office but no reply. i only get generic reply when i follow up thru webform..
