Does anyone know if it is a MUST to complete finger prints to have background check completed status (or any of the other statuses like prohibitions or physical presence ) in the new ECAS dashboard ?

What if I never received a request to do finger prints in the first place ?

Not everyone receives FP requests. If you don't receive one, you don't have to get it done.

Finally some good news!! Ecas was updated today to decision made!!!! I never had an interview. Please update the spreadsheet. Hoping I get this finished soon!!!

If you aren't traveling anywhere outside Canada, you don't have to do anything. There is no need for a Valid PR card for the oath ceremony.

At the end of the ceremony, you'll cut the PR card in front of IRCC officers (on camera) because you can't use (and don't need) a PR card after you're a Canadian Citizen.
