I literally dont understand if the flight ban does not affect Issuing of PPR for SOWP applications from India then what’s wrong with our files.

They have to process our files as our dependents ll come from any indirect route with the test report from third country.they have to consider at least but they are not bothering at all n we all have no solution.

Just talked to ircc agent. She said file is open and in progress. Said the file is not on hold and it is taking longer because it takes longer to do background check on outland dependents. Total bullshit...

100 Percent you are right, what is the challenge to issue COPR??? we can come from different route. Why they are stopping the COPR's. COPR is nothing but a PR, so that we can travel. How many months they will continue with this ban, almost 17 months. In future ask them to ban complete tourisam for 10 years, Outland max to max they will not have more then 2 to 3000 thousand applicants and they are least bothered to process the application. God knows what is going to happen what is the point of stopping professional.

Ppl even think sometime to go back to live life with their family members.even I think so many times but we invested a lot which we can’t even explain anyone.we are not able to take decision of our own life just due to these stupid restrictions.in the whole process I maintained each n every point if I go back it ll definitely affect my application as I claimed job offer points.they force us to maintain everything even in this pandemic situation but they are not able to maintain their standards…6 months for express entry.I thought to make a new profile without job offer n get AOR( draw is very low) go back as it is easy to wait in home country with family .

India has less cases compared to usa and uk population weightage. even a child can see the difference. They have no empathies towards suffering families.

Hello I have 1 Outland depedent (kid 4 years), 1 inland dependent (spouse). June 19 I got emailed confirmation from Hamilton visa office. I replied and told them that my kid is in india.
Today I got a reply that they cannot finalize my landing process as I have Outland dependent and they are keeping it on hold until travel restrictions are lift.

Same here… i got portal confirmation on june 10th , as one dependant child (5 years old ) outland .. they put on hold for us too .. our aor is apr 3rd 2020.

Ok, have they put on hold the whole application or the PPR request for your child ? also just to clarify there is no adult as dependent outland to accompany the kid ?

Not sure. Bcoz I have same scenario. I and my spouse got ecopr bcoz we are inland and my son’s ppr is pending bcoz he is Outland.

Hello, even iam in the same situation.. myself and spouse are in canada and kid is in india.we three got pr confirmation portal..even though i already specified my kid is not in canada.. by mistake they created pr confirmation portal for my kid.. now even we both did not issued ecopr even after submitting photo and addres in the poratl, its still in review with ircc status .. portal submission was done on june 10 .. please let me how u people got ecopr .. did you submit any webform as such

They put whole application on hold .. when i asked ircc agent .. they said as one of the dependant is outland .. they wont issue to anyone.. unless the travel restrictions are eased..once they are eased .. we will be landing virtually through portal and kid will be getting ppr request backhome..

PR Confirmation Portal to upload JPG and address - June 23, 2021

I did reply back on June 10th choosing option B and letting IRCC know that my spouse is outside Canada. Today my spouse also received portal confirmation also and she is not in Canada.

Anyone in my shoes? What will be the nest step to get PPR sent instead on Ecopr portal?

Call CIC or send a webform to inform them of this ?? @legalfalcon

My 3 year old daughter also in India n her father stuck with her as I did not allowed him to come.we thought that IRCC ll give her visitor visa as dependent.IRCC rejected her visa twice.now my daughter miss me a lot n my husband is in depression which making me mad.even no hope .

same here… my 5 year old son is in india.. his passport is about to expire in december. Myself and spouse is in canada.. got portal confirmation from ircc on june 10th .. but file put on hold as son is outland.. no idea why government is not making decisions..

What is stopping them to issue the copr to us and when the travel restrictions are eased/lifted, our dependents can do their landing....

By reading all the comments it looks like they are either giving COPR to the primary applicant or the Outland dependent and holding the other one.
