Hello. I done the Citizenship test on the 26th of April. Iv recieved an email today to sit the test again on the 28th of June. Im wondering is this a mistake or is there some thing I may have done wrong. So I know what NOT to do for the next test.

Possibly there were issues in testing system at that time which didnt record it correctly/fully. Or your face was not fully visible for the whole period of test. Were there any issues in your webcam or you forgot to note that your face was in that box all the time during the test?

So thats why retest. Cant do much from our end. THis time it will be with the officer hence this time around it will be updated for sure without any problem but you should start reading for the test again.

I assume your retest is on July 28th, not Jun28th.

Office is Scarborough. I was surprised too because I've heard Scarborough is slow. The email came from an officer's direct email. But the email body said:
If you have any question, please contact us as soon as possible at CIT-SCARBOROUGH@cic.gc.ca

Oh okay. None of the Mississauga applicants that submitted passport pages received any acknowledgement. May be sending acknowledgement is an office-specific procedure.

did u look away from the camera u need to stare directly to the camera , if no they may suspect u reading answers from somewhere

I got the confirmation that during test they do take pictures. I was disconnected from system for 2 minuets and during this time they did not get pictures..

This is kind of frustrating no doubt but nothing we can do

Test results not being confirmed for over 4.5 months appears to be out of the ordinary. Generally, it only takes a couple of days but could take something like 25 days or so for some applicants (and that is considered late).

Have you ordered GCMS notes yet?

Yes, the spreadsheet is certainly a heart-attack inducing document . Mid-Late 2019 and certain early 2020 applicants are amongst the unluckiest batch of citizenship applicants. Their applications have been delayed for such a long time. :-(

I'm not sure what else to suggest other than to order GCMS notes and see WTH is going on with your application.

That is not true, my husband's test as not updated on the site and confirmed for 3 months. 4 months seems long but once I emailed them on the web form they updated the test. But no other update yet.

I'm sorry but could you please point out which part of it isn't true? I'm asking to analyze if I actually made a mistake in the post or if you misunderstood what I've posted.

My decision made is last July 13, 2021 but until now still no oath date. I’ve seen some others here got theirs after 2 to 3 days. Just asking.

Timeline for oath greatly varies. Some people might get it on the same day and it could take a couple of months for others. It isn't standard. Depends on the local office and the person allocating dates for oath for your file.

If you've received DM, rest assured, you are in line for oath but it is very hard to predict when it will happen.

My husband's tracker has everything listed as completed except the oath Ceremony. Just waiting for his Citizenship Ceremony invite! The application still says in progress though in the new tracker, although everything is completed. ECAS says Decision made. Does it mean he is approved?

Finally my citizenship ceremony is scheduled on Aug 31!!!
No interview mentioned. Just got request for passport copy a week ago.

ECAS "Decision Made" = Application is approved. I've updated the spreadsheet.

Check old ecas https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/security.do . Mostly it should show decision made.
Yes mostly its approved as they will ask for more documents and interview before they try to deny. So you should be good
