Dear @legalfalcon, what is wrong with IRCC? Why they don’t process applications with decent spend? That’s a joke that they don’t have capacity due to covid. Did 50% IRCC staff died from covid or what happened they don’t have capacity? It’s bloody surreal!!!
They don’t meet their targets at all as well.

Please let us know what do you think about what is going know right now and how can you explain this madness.

Hope you are doing great. Your professional help means alot to everybody here. Thank you for taking the time to answer our concerns. My concern is about the use of representative. I have used a representative on my previous file. Now I need to submit a new file to IRCC but this time I am not using any representative on my file, instead, I am doing it by myself. Should I inform the IRCC to cancel the previously used representative. Is there any chance that IRCC can contact them or send out any correspondence to them.

Each application is different and you have an option to use a representative or not. For a previous application if you used one, you do not have to cancel it if the application has already been processed and closed. Neither do you have to explain in a new one that you are not using a rep.

Not having a use of representative form in an application by itself means that you are not using one.

The answer was as follows:

Furthermore, we verified the information on file and can confirm that:

• The background verifications are in process.
• The security background verification has not been initiated.
• The criminal background verification is currently valid.

When IRCC mentions background verifications are in process, does this mean the eligibility is being reviewed or queued for review.
CIC Sydney did mention that the applications were queued for a review by the officer.

Any insights on this?

I have received a confirmation email from doctor for submission of medical forms of my kids in eMedical on July 16,2021 but not of my wife They appeared on same date July 14 2021 for medical examination. What could be the possible reason. Does medical for adults take time for submission in eMedical. The clinic rold my wife all good at the time of completing medical examination. I am bit paranoid and worried. Please help

Good day @legalfalcon I noticed that ircc sent me a message to renew the passport of my son who has a dual citizenship. The issue is that the request was for one passport and not the American passport but both expired same month last year. Can I still go ahead to renew the American passport even if It wasn't requested

As you wait for his response, I think you should go ahead and renew the American passport as well as it won’t do your application no harm.

This is what webforms are ambiguous. Unless the web form expressly states that the eligibility is passed, you cannot speculate. You can try calling IRCC or request your GCMS notes.

Also, another indicator you can see is that security only starts after eligibility is passed.
