Hey guys
I really appreciate your input on my situation
So i am applying with my husband and toddler on express entry. I was intending to be the main applicant as i am still under 30 years old with a masters degree while my husband is above 30 years old with a bachelor. Both of us had great IELTS scores.
The issue is with the work experience.
I have 2 years work experience with NOC C as i working in sales
While my husband hr has 10 years plus experience NOC A
So now i am confused who is better to be the main applicant as i need every point to make it ?
Any advice is appreciated
Thank you

You should use the CRS calculator and see who has the higher score. Then that person should be the main applicant. It's as simple as that. Higher scoring applicant gives the family a better chance at getting an ITA.

Hi all, here's my brief profile. I'm planning to apply under FSW program and I'm an accountant. My husband is a software engineer. I'm not sure under who should I apply as the main applicant. In terms of education, I can claim more points as I got a master and my husband is a bachelor's degree holder. But is the IT profession has more in demand or in a more favourable position than the accounting profession? Or is it all the same? Other factors, we are mostly same like age and experience wise.

What is your score as the main applicant and his score? For FSW, it is highest score and doesn’t matter what the NOC is.

Hi, thanks for your reply. We can get 466 or 472 when I'm as a main applicant and only 378 when my husband is the main applicant. My next question is that is 466 a good score?

Since there hasn’t been an open or FSW draw since last year, your score may not get an invitation. Expect over 470. If draws become more regular then it is possible. Look at OINP for your NOC as your score may be in the range.

Last year the lowest FSW CRS was 468.
To be eligible for OINP, the CRS needs to be 400 and above.
But the main point is to get the IELTS done for both of you ( with CLB 10) and an Education assessment done for your degrees which conclusively says your degree is Master's equivalent.

Has any outlander got OINP - human capital priorities stream? Is that the only option to get PNP without any ties? But is it even active?
