Suppose the 1st year tuition is 20,000 CAD and the college has given 2000 CAD scholarship, then is it okay to show just 18,000 CAD tuition payment receipt? For SDS study permit?

Seniors, please advice and share your experience!

The fee submitted needs to be according to your offer letter/LOA. If your LOA & tuition fee payment receipt clearly states that you have paid your total due fees for 1st year, you should be good.

The college doesn't give letter like that. We just have to take printout of student account. Just like Banks shows balance in your statement, the student account also shows balance in statement. Only after course registration it shows fee due, etc and course registration hasn't started yet.

Your LOA does not indicate what your estimated tuition is, at least for the first year?

No :( They sent a separate PDF (with college header) that shows first and second year tuition fees.
Yes, so you have to attach that pdf to your LOA cos IRCC needs to know what your tuition is for the first year.
I will advise that if you can show the CAD20,000 then go ahead and do so. It will strengthen your case by showing you can afford your tuition without the scholarship.
