Just checked my status online, and my status is set as "Scheduled for Citizenship oath". But I have not received any email yet. No interview.

Oct 19, 2020 - AOR
Nov 19, 2020 - In Process
Feb 26, 2021 - Test invite
Mar 04, 2021 - Mar 24, 2021 - Test Start/End Date
Mar 24, 2021 - Test Passed
July 14,2021 - Oath Ceremony

No not urgent, normal process

I have the same time as yours when it comes to AOR and "In Process", yet I am still waiting for the test.

You file progressed quickly, but not all applicants experience the same progress. I have done the test more than 2 months ago, and nothing since then.

I agree, its all about pure luck at this time. If your stars align you will complete the waiting game sooner, if not then just wait and wait and wait......

A quick question - I just did my citizenship test today and saw all the language skills/physical presence/prohibitions are all updated to completed already - is this normal? I thought all would be checked once I passed the test not before

Looks like decision made for you. I didn't know they work on Saturdays? Regardless, congrats on your approval!!

Flip through several pages and couple people mentioned on this odd workflow - mainly for Brampton residents. I live in Mississauga so I guess it’s some new practice by the Mississauga office.

I've seen this happen in at least 4 other cases; 3 of those cases for applicants living in Brampton and one in Mississauga (but I guess all those files were processed by Mississauga since Mississauga handles applications from Brampton applicants).

I can hear Brampton and Mississauga offices calling my name for oath ceremony in English.

So, this was shocking to me but I already got a new invite to do my citizenship test! This time with the paragraph added that I can take the test abroad. I have emailed them right away that I will be taking it abroad and I'm just awaiting their response. My new dates are July 12 to August 1 and I received the invite on July 8. I will post an update once I've finished the test(and hopefully passed lol). Please update my row for now!

Anyone here from Halifax, NS office?

I have filed my application from Halifax. Not a single friggin' progress since I took the test back in April! This process is super sluggish and non-transparent.
