As of now I don't think any get any reply regarding 2 way courier service to submit the passport from VAC? do you have any idea from when they will accept for PRTD applicants?
No update yet for us . But people from phase 1 ( filled and paid webform before lockdown) getting requests. As per some youtuber’s , i think they emailed vfs , they got to know it can take 3-4 weeks to start stamping normally. This is so so unfair waiting since april 20.

There is a pandemic so travel comes with risks and lockdowns and service disruptions are to be expected.

As VAC in India are open with limited services does it will expedite if I go to a VAC?

They won’t help you if you go straight to VAC. Impossible to know how long PRTDs will take because it depends on the amount of the backlog. If you meet your RO you will get approved. It’s unfortunate that you didn’t update that you were out of Canada since you should have never been landed virtually. Normally they call to verify that you haven’t left Canada because many have left Canada and not updated their profiles and have ended up with this situation.

As passport stamping started on 5 july, vfs replied to one of the twitter page that it may take them 3-4 weeks to clear big backlog of phase 1 which will be the end of this month. Then again it will probably take them 10-15 days more to stamp our passport which will be mid of august. Some news are coming 3rd wave can hit by the end of august. Anybody thinking of going to other country to get passport stamp [passport request letter is international letter] and then routing to canada.
