Home based business as an international student?

Hello,
I just had a quick question about something. I’m starting school this fall in Canada. It’s seneca in Toronto but I plan on staying in B.C for online classes.
I am a nail tech and was wondering if I can do a home based nail tech thing but don’t know if I can do that on a study permit?

Sure, you can do that as long as you don't work more than 20 hours per week.

What do you mean by nail tech? Like nail art, nail polish etc? You will most likely need a business license, check the province where you will live. Also, your business location should be covid complaint, again check with the provincial laws.

Well when you work, you would be giving receipts to your clients to track hours. Also Keep an excel spreadsheet that is your timesheet to record hours.
