Good morning everyone!

Question: Do you think I should call them?

Context:
We passed the test - June 29th.
Everything changed to Complete (except Oath not started) - June 30th.
Decision Made - June 30th.
Office: Montreal

It says decision made, but nothing else. I don't know what was the decision.
Do you think I will get any extra information if I call them?

Thank you very much! :)

The decision is almost certainly 'Approved'. It is very unlikely that your application will be rejected without being requested a ton of documents or an interview. If you call them, they'll simply say that your application is "Approved" (same thing I'm saying right now).

You'll just have to wait to be scheduled for oath.

No one can beat them!!!
trust me, ottawa can. Ottawa office gives no sh*t about citizenship apps, they are too busy processing other kinds of visas.... if you go see the 2020 sheet, ottawa applicants are rarely getting test invites even if you go back to Jan2020

Due to some changes in the immigration law in the other country, I cannot have my Canadian one approved before October 2023. Basically, the requirement to register for nationality in the other country is extended from one year to two years residence. I applied in September last year, should I inform CIC that I shall be away until say, end of 2022, such that they will not process my application before then. Or, if you would think it would be safe to assume the process would not be completed before 2024 for me?
This is an unusual situation. AFAIK, if you get an oath invitation, you can postpone it and let IRCC know the reason why you are postponing it (requirement of the other country).

Congrats. It's just the wait for the oath now.

Good luck to you. Hope your Hubby is better now.

One question Raj, so the tracker and ecas are only updated early in the morning so its waste of time checking it multiple times a day, just once around 10am is enough right???

I received my test update sometime between 10:30 and 11:00 AM. So, once after 11 should suffice for both the dashboard and ECAS.
