Hi Raj, any idea what are the timelines for oath? I am waiting for oath since more than a month. Mississauga office.

Generally speaking, expect 3 - 5 months of wait from the date the test was set to completed. If it happens sooner than that, good!

My test status was set to completed today.

Apparently, the actual validation was done yesterday but the dashboard was updated this morning.

Are you online or paper application my friend? There’s no one person I’d love to see with your citizenship soon than you. Godspeed!

Well, that probably isn't the reason why your test is still "In Progress". The test instructions page EXPLICITLY states that you can use your PR card as an ID EVEN IF IT IS EXPIRED. It largely depends on the local office as well.

I hope your test results get validated soon!

From what I see, in 2-3 weeks we will have our status changed to DM and all the other sections in the tracker will change into completed except for oath. And 3-4 months after that we should be expecting our oath invitation, right?

Well, that would be awesome. But given the very few number of DMs for September applicants, I reckon it is too early to tell. If we all do get DM statuses in the next 2 - 4 weeks, then our oaths might be closer. IRCC might be inclined to schedule oaths for us before the end of September 2021 to preserve the "80% of the applications within 12 months" KPI but that's just me thinking out loud (and maybe indulging in some dangerous wishful thinking). Anyways, we might at least see some September 2020 applicants be scheduled for oath sometime in September (at least a couple of us).

No the picture itself was NOT flipped, but the response of my webcam was a mirror image, ie if I move the ID left <-- it would move right --> and so on. It took me a while to center it properly. Or maybe it was my nerves! haha!

In any event, once you take the picture, they will show it to you can you can verify it is not flipped before approving it.
