Ontario is entering phase 2 today. Is that what you are referring to?Until phase 2, things will remain as they are. Once Canada announces phase 2, you will see many changes and things will speed up.
Security is the last stage and usually starts after the eligibility is conclusively passed. One of the indicators that security is in progress is that security will be blank on page 2 of the GCMS notes.Do you think they had already start my security?
It is Canada's phase 2. Immigration and border measures is not a Provincial matte, it is a federal issue.Ontario is entering phase 2 today. Is that what you are referring to?
Delays are the norm these days and it is very common for eligibility to not start after 4-5 months. Since your eligibility hasn't started, the GCMS notes would not provide you with much details, but will surely you know the visa office your application is at and the last time your application was worked on.Hi @legalfalcon . Could you please suggest on below.
My AOR is Jan 2021(Inland-CEC). On Feb 9th Medicals passed and biometrics updated. Since then no update. yesterday, I have called CIC and they said except medicals nothing is started. bit worried its already 5 months passed. what are my option, kindly suggest?
should I raise a web form/GCMS? / Just wait
Thanks in Advance
It is very common to have redacted pages or part of pages under s16.Got gcms notes today and it says criminality and security not started. But several pages are missing according to s16(2) of Access to Information Act. Is this normal? @legalfalcon
Please in notes page 2
Assessment
Is it the same as " Eligibility: pass" but " criminality security says "not started" ? Does it mean conclusive pass or there could be other hidden notes ?
that's what i thought but i'm not aware of any phased approach taken by the Federal government. Unless you are referring to reopening of the US-Canada border (which is likely the next step after opening borders for citizens and PR holders). It is Canada's phase 2. Immigration and border measures is not a Provincial matte, it is a federal issue.
