Is it possible for a student to get work permit after they've finished their studies in Canada through change of status??? (School does not offer PGWP)

If you get a job offer with LMIA (no Canadian or PR to do the job) and then you apply for a closed work permit. For the LMIA, Costs employers $1000 and time to submit and wait months for a decision. Then if you get a LMIA, you wait months for a closed work permit. Few employers will go through the process.

Technically it's absolutely possible. Practically it's extremely difficult since very few employers are willing to go through the LMIA process.
