As long as it in English or French, no translation is needed. You also do not need translations where two languages are present on visa / stamp provided one of those languages is English or French, IMO!

As an FYI, two days ago they updated the requirements for the Citizenship application from "Provide a photocopy of all the biographical pages" to "Provide a colour photocopy of all pages". There's no mentions of translations etc. needed

I also received a phone call from a mobile phone and an email from an agent at IRCC, I have never received a phone call nor an email from a persons mailbox. Is this legit? The email however is @cic.gc.ca

Had to say or comment if we don’t know what the call was regarding and what was asked / said to you . Please provide more details on your call and email .

If I am scheduled for an interview I have to be physically present in Canada.

Oh yeah? I didn't know this. I'd submit the additional document asap. If there's an interview, you can always ask them to accommodate you or reschedule.

Yes they do. Back in 2017 when I had an inland sponsorship application in for my husband. Many applicants said that when there was some urgency involved and depending on the visa office, the officer would call to make their request in addition to sending out an email. Once that application processing was complete we also did receive an email from an actual person inviting us to come to their Kitchener office to land on a specific date and time.

Yes, they do. Applicants have been called by IRCC officials before interview and before oath. Some applicants have received an email from firstname.lastname@cic.gc.ca requesting copies of the passport pages.

The biographical page is bilingual in Chinese and English.

Just an update, I have sent the copies of passport pages yesterday, and all sections have been marked as completed except for oath which is still not started.
