My spouse got the PCC in one day from MoI. I am not sure if the right procedure was followed. Nonetheless, the PCC was submitted to London VO 3 months ago and they haven’t asked to submit another version. 3 weeks ago they asked my spouse to do biometric and send other supporting documents like birth certificates, photos, etc.Idk how it works with other countries, but in Afghanistan it takes 20 days to get your PCC and has multiple steps to do so, first you give ur biometrics in MOIA, then they direct you to the MOFA, then they will tell you that after a couple of days you can ask your mom dad or relatives in canada to collect it from the consulate, they wont hand it over to you, also they charge 50$ american. Per pcc. And NO THEY WONT APPLY FOR YOU, they will simply ask you to get them the PCC and its your job on how and from where.!
2: your dependents arent exempt from medical Fee, they have to pay, here in AFG its 400$/person, but in Pakistan a lot cheaper but time consuming..
thank you
My understanding was that if the person is in Afghanistan, why the PCC should be sent to Canada? They can translate it and endorse it by MOFA and simply send a scan copy to London VO?
