It’s been five months and nothing started.stucked at background processing .not specific timeline so we don’t know how much time they ll take.they are taking COVID as advantage for them but for us it’s a decision for life but they never understand.
no offence to your 5 months......Tomorrow marks our 11-month anniversary.

This whole situation is giving me anxiety.
I am I'm going back to India and come back after everything gets sorted. Living there would be a better choice rather than keeping myself depressed here. I have seen people here waiting for more than a year. My heart aches every single second here.. living all alone.. i can't wait for another year

Ok thanks. So she will get her COPR letter by mail, too?
My humble guess is , Outland dependants also will soon start getting digital visa and digital copr . Process changed for inland they might start for Outland as well . Let’s hope for digital process so things are faster . Not wait times for stamping sending passports . Everything we get in email and just fly .

Yes. What does that mean? Our applications are in process and you know what.. if you Have Canadian work experience during any time in the last three years before getting into the pool, it is considered as CEC even if you are not in Canada

CEC EE. They are certainly wasting our time. I think the better strategy would be having a back-up plan.

I would say as a backup apply bowp if PA in Canada. Change job if necessary. Wait for PR eventually it will come. Other than that we can’t do anything . I see some people getting PR who applied 2018

This is the thing that gets me the most. If they can give ppl COPRs in 2-4 months, how come IRCC stretched it to 3 years. I know each case is different, but I don't believe it could be that complex for them to approve with 3 long years. It's people's lives, futures, and family they are dealing with, not just the application.
