To those getting PPR in Nigeria, If it is possible avoid lagos VFS avoid them ooo. Those VFS staff are agent of frustration, it is even better to DHL Abuja or directly to accra vfs and pay the money then get peace of mind than go through Lagos VFS. I dont understand how application that has been stamped since June 4th is still in transit on june 15th. my husband's passport that he submitted to lagos vfs, s what the customer service is telling me the passport is in Abj in transit to lagos for how long. even accra to lagos shipping took only one day. how can abj to lagos shipping time be entering 1 week when it is not spain. Don't say no one warned you when your BP start rising.

This is so frustrating. We forwarded my dependents Via to Accra for stamping on May 17 but the passports were returned today without Visas.

Their medical does not expire until January 2022 and there was no counterfoil on my GC key. I could be wrong but want to assume that it's because Accra received their passports before my landing was finalized by Calgary.

The request letter stated that we send passports if overseas within 30 days while I completed a web form for the landing portal. However, the DHL package was delivered to IRCC Accra a few days before Clagary completed my landing and forwarded my ECOPR. I've however resent the documents back to Accra and included my ECOPR as a confirmation that my dependents are exempt from the travel restrictions.

Did you have to link your dependents' profile to your GC key after landing? Please let me know if this was the case. Please and thanks..

Yeah you needed to wait till after getting your COPR to send the passports to Accra. No i didn't need to link anything because it is already on the gc key profile under ''view dependents'' below the bio-metrics information side.

I got my PPR request yesterday, June 9th. My husband called the MP (Member of Parliament) for his postal code area where we live last week Friday. I think it's one of the things God used to speed up the process. I think I will advise that if you are at this stage (Pre-arrival) for more than a month, please call. You can get details on the MP office from https://www.ourcommons.ca/members/en. You will need to put your postal code, and you will get MP for your region. I pray we all get results real soon. Biometrics done: December 8th 2020
Medical Exam request: April 12th 2021
Additional document request: April 20th 2021
Document received: April 23rd 2021
Medical passed: April 29th 2021

Have not heard anything since the medical was passed so am wondering what may be next?

Unfortunately not yet. It's been concerning me too because I'm seeing some from around the same time and even later already receive their PPR. When we contacted VFS Accra, all they said was its still in queue for review and all we can do is wait.

Yeah through the webform. Have never tried calling them directly

I am the sponsor when I first handed the application in I did contact the MP to get a letter of recommendation but since I have not tried that yet but after reading some of the threads I really should
