Refused , Re-apply or Appeal ?

Hello everyone


I kindly need your answer for this question. .

When a family sponsorship application is refused , the options the one would have are Re-applying or Appealing . ،
Are there any other options?
Based on your experience what would you recommend!?


And as for Appealing , are there different types of Appeal !? Is there such thing called " interior appel ? And how long does an appel take. ?

What are the pros and cons of each option?

Provide us some more details/context on what happened. Were you refused after an interview? What was the reason? And which country was your PA in?

I think generally speaking, people tend to appeal as opposed to starting a fresh case. But it's better if more experienced members chime in.

There is only 1 kind of appeal.
If you feel your application was strong and the reason for refusal was based on discrimination like age, race, religion...or some bias regarding applicant country or other bias like #of previous marriages, etc, then an appeal is better.
If its for lack of proof then reapplying can be considered depending on how much is lacking. However, we must keep in mind that an appeal is De Novo, meaning you can provide new proofs ( no less than 20 days before the hearing).
Most likely an appeal is better because if you reapply, they can refuse on the same grounds. On the other hand, if you lose an appeal, you can never sponsor that spouse again! So make sure you go to appeal with lots of new proofs and correcting all officer concerns in gcms notes/blue book. DONT go to appeal if u cannot correct all concerns in time i.e. lack of visits, etc
What you can do is file the appeal and work on collecting proofs if you cannot make it by the cut off date you can always withdraw the appeal and reapply.
