What class to select for my situation

Hello everyone, I am just completing the checklist for the spousal sponsorship and i am just getting confused and so would appreciate any help on this.

I am a UK citizen and have been in Canada since 21st October 2020 (applied under the extended family reunification process and got married to my Canadian Wife in December 2020), and applied for an extension in March.

I plan on staying in Canada until i find out the results of my extension, hopefully get approved for a further 6 months which will take me to September time roughly, and then returning to the UK and coming back every few months for short visits.

The issue i am having is what class do i apply under for the 'Class of Application' section on the sponsorship forms.

Whilst i am living in Canada with my sponsor, its not permanent as ill be going back to the UK and im not working in Canada (im working for my UK company remotely here though) so im still classed as a visitor so i think the 'Spouse or Common-Law Partner in Canada Class' is not for me.

Now the next options are Family class, either currently living outside of Canada or Inside of Canada.

When i submit my application il be inside Canada, but ill be leaving later in the year.

So is it best to select the 'inside Canada; family sponsorship' option as that is my current situation at the moment?

Any help or info would be appreciated.

In your situation you should select Family class and outland sponsorship even though you are in Canada at the moment. Selecting outland allows you to come and go from Canada during the process as opposed to inland where you have to remain in Canada during the processing. The advantage for people who do an Inland app is that they can apply for an Open Work Permit, but it appears you don't need that with your current job working remotely.
