Guys, I reached out to IRCC for status updates on my application. I will be receiving call back in 30mins. My status on the new tracker is like many other here - Language Skills, Physical Presence, Background verification, Prohibitions - all in Progress. (Updated April 23, 2021). Any pointers / questions that I need to ask that would help - for example, the visa office processing my application, etc?

this is exactly how my file looks, except for background check passed. but last update was april 23rd. are you in Ottawa by any chance? if you are, please ask them why the Ottawa office is so much behind others!

My citizenship test has been scheduled.
Test Window from June 28th to July 18th.

Two of my family members also received test invite for the same dates on tracker today.

this is exactly how my file looks, except for background check passed. but last update was april 23rd. are you in Ottawa by any chance? if you are, please ask them why the Ottawa office is so much behind others!

I don't even know which office my file is in. Perhaps, that's the first thing I will ask. I had applied from Toronto.

Oh no.. my application is way behind. I do not even have a test invite yet.

Update:

The officer mentioned that my file is in 'good order'. I have not missed any deadlines and they do not need any documentation from me at the moment (always reassuring). My file is being processed in Scarborough office. Any views/opinions on the processing times at Scarborough?

Do you not want to wait till the oath? People say the applicant will receive an invitation within a month from passing the test. I did the exam on the 4th of June 2021 and waiting for the oath. Hopefully it will not take long.

I would definitely do that. But people here said it is 3 months or more. and staying there for 3 months is more expensive than another plane ticket. If it one month, I'd definitely stay.

Hello everyone! Quick update after passing the test last week (Friday, June 18): Test and Prohibitions Activity have both been updated to Completed this morning. So basically all stages are now completed, except for the Citizenship Ceremony, which is marked as "not started". Dare I dream to actually become a citizen by Fall?

Btw, good luck to all of you (Raj & co.) who are about to take the test!
