I got my rejection today (23.12.2020) for Study VISA.

31 years old Indian. 6.5 years work experience as Design Engineer in Steel field working in U.A.E for 5 years. Wife and daughter not accompanying.

Conestoga College. Graduate Certificate in Steel Management and Detailing. January intake 2021.

I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your immigration status.

I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence

1. What country do you live? And where are you from? - Immigration has an issue as permits are based on you returning to your home country. You need to show strong ties to your home country (property, funds, employment).
2. Purpose of visit - don't believe you are a genuine student based on age, education and program.
3. Employment situation - how will taking a certificate help your career in your home country (not where you currently live).

GCMS notes takes 1 month. My class starts on January 18. I dont have ample time.

You will not make it because you are re-applying. Processing is months so order GCMS notes. You need to show strong ties to India. Show employment opportunities in India. Because you are living in UAE, officers know you don't have permanent residency and therefore may plan to stay in Canada. These are just a few things.

Anyhow GCMS notes takes a month. so i thought will re-apply again with supporting documents. If rejected again will apply for GCMS notes.

If i defer, my course is only in Jan 2022 after Jan 2021.

Order GCMS notes but what is your profile? What is your job now? What program? Do you live in your home country? Officers don’t think spending thousands on a Canadian education will help your career.

I did my Bachelors in Computer Sciences in 2018 and now I am an employee as an Software Developer and I joined the company as full time employee right after my degree. I was working in the same company from 2014 Nov as part time employee during my studies so when i finished my studies the same company offered me the job where I am currently working.

I choose "Artificial Intelligence - Architect, Design and Implementation ", it's a PGD from Georgian College Barrie

Yes I live in home country
