Yeah give it some more time. Usually, this is done pretty quickly but some applicants are reporting delays.

We passed test on May 7th and received second fingerprint request. After sending it, the Background check is completed now. What next? How many days, months of wait from now onwards?

Nobody can tell you that. It varies from person to person and differs based on many variables. You can take a look at the spreadsheet to see what the timelines look like.

But in general, what are the next steps post this, and what's the average / likely duration?

If no one can even say that, then I don't know what you guys have been discussing all along so much in these forums. Just wondering?

Next step could be an interview. Some people have been waiting for an interview since 3-4 months now & it's not clear what criteria they use to select someone for an interview. Some have gone straight to oath without an interview so again, no one knows.

There are lot of unknowns here but if you wanna have a rough idea, take a look at the spreadsheet.

Processing times are not the only thing we discuss. There are so many nuances associated with immigration in general. If you expect everyone discussing here to be able to give you processing times, that's not going to work. Like I said before, you can take a look at the spreadsheet and see the timelines for yourself.

3-4 months .. hmm. From a long term perspective, that’s not too bad.

I know there are genuine people here who want to help, but idiots who reply to every message and show up in every thread are not those genuine ones

I just took the online test, got 17/20. But I didn't receive any email confirming that I did it. Is there such an email? I have no proof I did the test.

You’ll only get an email if you clicked the button at the end of the test to email the result. Otherwise, there is no automatic confirmation. You can call the call centre to confirm, but IMO you shouldn’t worry. Your test should be fine.

I am so used to everything send a confirmation email that I didn't bother to ask for one.

yeah, it’s weird the confirmation email is not automatic, I do wish it had been

You can also check the tracker in the next few days when the test is marked “completed”.
