Hello,

I decided to apply and while I was filling in the blank boxes, in the middle of the Test and Language Scores tab, I noticed they do not have this test in the list, even though the graduate admission requirement says it is available up until this week.

Tab: Test and Language Scores.
When I tried to manually add another language test score (into the ''Text ID'' box), to be specific : Duolingo test, the program did not allow me to enter another value- presented an error that says: 'unable to add this value´. Furthermore, I don't even know how to fill the four blank boxes to write the scores, if they are not composed by the quantity of blank spaces that the Duolingo test requires in order to enter each score. Can you please explain to me how to solve this issue?

Please give me some advice, the deadline for uploading my application with this kind of test is close!

Anyone who is experiencing same trouble when trying to allocate Duolingo test manually?

P.D: I already contacted everyone who is able to breathe in this uni
All the other test are banned in this country, this is my only chance.

Someone who had have the same experience?

You should contact McMaster about this issue so they can help you quickly before you miss your deadline.

Duolingo is best solution not only of its convinient in this critical time but the way they conduct the test. I did it a year ago and got 6.0 first time which I could not get by ielts

So why I know friends who are already there by taking that test?

I understand that IRCC does not accept it for immigration process of course-

I'm talking about of study permit and they do not ask for any language test for this purpose. All individuals of this country have been applying just by sending their university acceptance letter (they do not upload their test scores because IRCC do not ask for it when you are applying for study permit).

I had known all cases, people who have taken IELT, TOEFL, DUO, CAMBRIDGE, as long as they get their acceptance letter of the uni, they do not upload any of their test to their study permit .

I don't know which country you are from, and your initial question wasn't about what test IRCC accepts. Like you rightly said, IRCC doesn't require a test from everyone, but if you are from a country where they require the english proficiency test e.g. India, Duolingo is not accepted. Simple as that.

ok, I see now that you just corrected it. So for India they ask you for english test when applying for study permit.

Here they do not ask for any language test for study purposes. They just ask for the acceptance letter of the uni. So it is dependable on the requirements that the uni sets. And if the uni accept Duo, well, you are on the game!

Please if someone is applying to this uni admission process, let me know!

Not sure, what I corrected? At no point in this post did I say IRCC requests IELTS from everyone. What I said (and still say) is that IRCC doesn't accept Duolingo.

Good luck with resolving your university application issue!

This is why IRCC doesn't accept it.
This point was the part you clarified later by then saying FOR INDIANS. Remember man, this forum is not just for INDIANS, whoever from the WHOLE world could enter to this forum. So I suggest you to correct or edit this post: ''IRCC doesn't accept Duolingo'' because:

1. This post is under the tab called: ''International students'' not ''PR'' - which means is for this purpose, in every nation worlwide they require different things. As you learned in here, in my country IRCC does not ask FOR ANY test on study visa, so do not generalize (or at least, specify) because it could have caused a misundarstanding for nationals who are not Indians. By saying ''IRCC does not accept DUO test'', when IRCC is a service available WORLDWIDE (At least end you sentence adding ''for Indians'' or do not say anything inconclusive, because, hello? this is an international forum---If I were to leave your first comment without a reply, most non Indians natives or from another country that do not require any test, would be confused or believe they just lost theirs study chances by reading your first post.

Thanks for your +vibes! I'll see what I can do.

Are you saying IRCC accepts Duolingo from other nationalities (for whatever stream - PR, Work, Study etc)? Can you point out, by quoting me directly, where I have generalised in this ENTIRE post? That will settle this confusion immediately.

Like you said, for your country and a lot other, IRCC doesn't request english test. So how could my saying "IRCC doesn't accept Duolingo" affect or confuse them? For countries that do not require ielts at all for study, this post is of no concern to them whatsoever.

Comprehension is key here...

I read this thread and i dont see where she generalized, it is simple clarification that IRCC does not accept dualingo. You also said “ you have known all the case”, but yet you never answer which country you are applying from, to me that is generalization.

simply this way, if your country has language requirement, duolingo is not accepted

if your country do not have that requirement, you dont need to
Same applies to DLI’s.

No, I did not say so. here it goes your generalized sentence: -"IRCC doesn't accept Duolingo". The same quotation I did it my previous post. Why is it a generalized sentence? because it does not apply to all nationals and this is exactly an international forum. Yes , it can cause confusion dear, there are some who come to a forum before even start to access the official webpage.

Bro, you are arguing blindly now.

IRCC DOESN'T ACCEPT DUOLINGO. FROM ANY NATIONALITY IN THIS WHOLE WORLD. UNDER ANY IMMIGRATION STREAM.

If you have proof to the contrary, present it. Like I said earlier, comprehension is key.
