Often I see people who changed locations, and with that, immigration offices.

Does that begets too much trouble, disrupts even more the timelines, delays, etc. anything at all?

Depends.

If you only move a couple of blocks away and if the same office is responsible for that postal code, then no. However, if you move to a different city or a province entirely, then the visa office will change and that might add some delays to the process because the file has to be transferred to the new office. There is no concrete data about the degree of delay etc but it is kind of likely that this might add some more time to the process.
