Medical Expired after PPR

Hi guys,

I have received my PPR for study permit on April 23rd, Due to lockdown, the passport stamping is pending. I took my medicals last year May28th, 2020.
Is my medicals valid for one year?
If so, should I need to take Medicals again?
I have not received any notice form IRCC yet, I just want to make sure, that I am on safer side.

You are on the safe side but you should plan to retake the medical again,

Your medicals are valid for a year , Yes, you should retake your medicals . You'll have to wait for the IRCC to send you a request, else your counterfoil would be invalid when you get your passport stamped. Wait it out for a couple of days if there isn't any update , raise a webform.

Just one more doubt. I have taken my medical on May 28th 2020. I applied my study permit 3rd time on March 2021. So the medical has been passed on my CIC is April 23rd, 2021.

So the one year validity is calculated from May 28th 2020 or April 23rd, 2021?

From the date mentioned on e medical form, from the day you got your medicals done.

Your medical has expired. You will not be allowed into Canada on an expired medical. You have to do another one. If you can, do it right away. Don't wait for IRCC to contact you about it. It takes about 6 weeks for them to update your medicals and you can't travel until you get a message from them that your new medical report has passed.

Thanks all. In India the medicals has been stopped due lockdown. Once it has started, I will make sure, I take the medicals.
