Is it true that you can enter Canada without IELTS and LMIA when you get a job offer on BC PNP Tech stream?

Hi

There's this guy on YouTube (with braces) who's saying that there's a way you can go to Canada without IELTS when you get a job offer to BC using the PNP Tech stream. How true is this? If that's not true, is that guy's YouTube channel not legit? How would I know if a YouTuber is not telling the truth?

Thanks!

Thanks Naturgrl

I've been reading that guide. I still have question tho, what's the difference between EEBC - Skilled Worker and Skills Immigration - Skilled Worker? I know that in EEBC you need an IRCC EE profile where in Skills Immigration, you do not. And that Skills Immigration only requires English test for NOC B Occupations. What are the other advantages and disadvantages of the two?

For EE, you need to meet the EE requirements so IELTS and ECAs. It is faster because it is not paper based (Skilled Worker). Are you living and working in BC? What does your employer say?

Got it, so that's the main difference, skilled worker is paper based. You know what's the minimum processing time of paper based application?

No I'm not living in Canada yet. I'm just checking what my options are right now. I'm really at the beginning and trying to get familiar with all of the terms and requirements. Thanks for the help. Really, any help counts at these times.

So have have a job offer and your employer meets the requirements and has signed all the paperwork. You apply and wait for a nomination. Once you get a nomination, you apply for PR. Right now, I believe it is about 2 years of processing from that point. EE is much faster.
