Hello to everyone.
I came to Canada 2 weeks ago as a full time student. but I was given a study permit at the airport, which did not allow me to work off campus and told me to leave Canada within 6 months. I've been deeply unhappy and sad for this 2 weeks. Anyway, my classes started a short time ago and I'm going to apply for a study permit extension in a few weeks.

When I first arrived in Canada, the IRCC agent asked me weird questions like if my father (my sponsor) had been jailed, and I told him he was on trial but not jail time but paid a fine. While I was saying this, he was constantly typing something on his computer. The thing the i wonder is will it be a problem to my new apply. Because i will show my dad as my sponsor again and i'm really worrying about. And What should I pay attention to in the new study permit extension that I will apply under these conditions?
I would like to express that I will be grateful in advance for any information and advice

I guess Border officials were not satisfied but gave you short period entry to Canada and ask you to leave on your own arrangement. They normally do that instead of arranging for return flight back to your Country from the airport. Im not sure if that is the study permit, you can read the remarks carefully.

Now if you apply for extension, then i would suggest you hire immigration lawyer to assist you. As we dont know details of your situation, how long is your study etc you’ll face issues going solo

Thanks but If he didn't want to let me into the country, he wouldn't. He even asked the amount of money that I brought with me and I told him how much i have. he could easily send me to my country. He said that get me a new loa and apply again.

It does work that way most of the time, but the question why did the officer issue 6months validity and ask you to leave Canada within 6 months? He told you to leave WITHIN 6 months and ask you to obtain new LOA and apply again, something is not okey and contradict with your original narrative. whats wrong with your current LOA?

he didnt say that. It says so on the study permit that i can stay in canada for 6 months. maybe you didnt read well my first message. I had no problems with any of my documents or anything. Not everything in the world is rational.
My question is about the sponsor issue that i mentioned

I guess i read it right but you put it wrong, see third line from top, copy paste below

“told me to leave Canada within 6 months”

anyway, wish you all the best, i was trying to understand your situation but for now let it be that way, short with no more details…

As @Simba112 said, many things are unclear - which is your intake buddy? and what is the course end date on your LOA that you used while applying for study permit and did you defer your course after having initially being approved for study visa, if yes then whats the new end date of program?
When we reach PoE (at the airport), there are two ways of CBSA's handling immigration - first is PIL (most people are attended here only) and second is Immigration Secondary (where they usually take you to a room and privately ask questions). Did they take you in for secondary?

Does anyone want to express their opinion other than a student who has not come to Canada yet and English teacher?

I'm not sure if you know this, but surprise, no one is entitled to help you so you should be thankful that these 2 people did.
As they both said, none of what you stated added up, why did he only give you 6 months? And why did he tell you to get a new LOA and apply again if for an extension you need a letter of enrollment not a letter of acceptance.

How long is your program, start date and end date?
When did you start studying?

Extensions are pretty much straight forward.

Great attitude you've got there.

Like previously stated, your story is not clear enough. Why was the Officer asking about your father being jailed? Where did piece of info come from? What is the duration of your studies? Did you start studying from your home country? If yes, how long more do you need to complete your program? These are useful info that you need to provide to enable us advise you correctly.

You can apply for an extension at least 3 months before your SP is due to expire. You'd need to submit your enrolment letter and other documents like proof of funds etc.
