Just called IRCC today. It took me 40 minutes to speak with an agent.

AoR May 11 - Inland with spouse
Medical + Bio - May 31
1st Ghost Update - June 8. BG changed from "processing" to "in progress"

Called today and was told my eligibility was passed. I think it is what the ghost update is about.

Yeah, they are working on it. Security has not started.

Can anyone tell me how to speak to an actual human being on the IRCC phone line? I spent well over 20 minutes entering my UCI, app number, and other details only to hear an automated message.

I entered all information and was told my information was not correct lol. Then, it said something about giving information again and there was an option for reaching an agent.

Can anyone please tell me job offer question? I answered yes for that part but didn’t got any additional 50 points. Now I realized that it’s only for Lmia job. Can i change to no after ITA?

I think we have pretty similar timeline and condition. AoR May 15 - Inland with spouse. Medical + Bio - 04 June
1st Update - June 11. BG changed from "Processing" to "In Progress".

I guess we need to wait for BG to change back to Processing again, but some says you can receive portal email even while having "In progress" in BG. I am not sure though.

Nope, I suggest declining the ITA and re applying. You might come across as "lying" about your status in Canada if you don't but it would be a good idea to wait to see what others have to say.

Yes, you can. But you should write an LoE to clarify this change.

It's not important to have BG back to "processing". It's up to whether the office updates it in the system or not. Sometimes it goes straight to portal confirmation email. It's just my opinion according to my search.

Oh, then we need not worry about expecting another ghost update for BG. Everything can happen any time for us, hopefully good news soon, but this security part is making me feel worried since most of the people stuck there for a long time. Anyway, nothing to do

As long as we are still in the frame of 6 months, nothing should be worried

Today received an email from IRCC for Ghost Update(you application status has changes).
Nothing changed and not seeing Application/Profile updated, just Submitted.

Do yo guys think this is Real IP1 or IP2?

Hi guys,

I would like to ask you guys' advice about my application.
Today I called IRCC to get to know about my application status.

The IRCC agent confirmed that
My visa office is Sydney
Medical and Criminality is passed on May 31, 2021 (No biometrics needed).
Need to wait for Eligibility and Seurity check for the final decision.

Do you guys think this is a good moving steps for my PR to get it soon?
