Online MBA from NMIMS

Hello folks,

I am planning to do online MBA from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, but I am unsure what is the equivalence of online MBA in Canada from NMIMS as per WES.
If anybody has done their ECA from WES or IQAS after doing online MBA from NMIMS, please let me know. I am really looking for some help.

WES I believe provides a Master degree equivalent for MBA only from IIMs/IITs.

What about IQAS…?
I spoke with one of the member from Amity University regarding equivalence of online MBA in Canada and she told me that it’s equivalent to MBA degree in Canada. She also said that WES will now give “Masters” equivalence to online MBA done from Amity University

I am not aware of IQAS for online MBA. But generally people have succeeded in getting a Master's equivalent from IQAS for an MBA.
If you wish to know about WES, try their education equivalence tool to understand what the evaluation would look like.

This was the email reference shared by the Amity guy when I asked about WES.

Dear Dr. Babu Lal Arya,
Thank you for your detailed email.
I am pleased to announce, WES has updated our policies. Starting July 17th, WES treats distance education/open learning programs awarded by recognized UGC state private universities as accredited or recognized in the US and Canada. Please note the degrees must be awarded by a degree-granting university recognized by UGC.
Students with older WES evaluations under the previous policy may apply for an upgrade or re-evaluation to update their report to the current WES policy.

The letter does not explicitly state it would be Masters equivalent, just that it is recognized now.Try the education equivalence tool by WES to see what do they offer the MBA program as.

I know about this, but in this tool Amity and other distance education universities are not mentioned, but I was able to find Amity University while filling out my WES application.

But aren't you planning to study from NMIS and not Amity? Either case, IQAS might provide the Master's equivalency.
Note: ECA will only happen after you finish your MBA and get your degree.

I am planning to study pursue from Amity.
I am aware of that, I can apply for ECA only after completing my studies.
