Is it even possible for Indian citizens to get their passport stamped via a 3rd country? Isn't it only possible for biometrics?

Can you elaborate? How do I give I stamp in another country? Also what if the PPR is expired? They said theyll be accepting expired PPRs too?
You cant have your passport stamped in different Visa office from the one you received instruction letter to submit to

You can get your passport stamped in any country
Ppr is usually valid for 30 Days and they are accepting expired one’s coz of covid but our’s is not expired as they send u a notification that it is expired

you can go to 3rd country(Ethiopia/Egypt/Istanbul/Serbia) get it stamped and fly

Don't you need an appointment? What do you mean fly to Ethiopia/Egypt/Istanbul/Serbia and get it stamped? Please give me the link where I can pay the fee and form to get it stamped from the above countries.

Contact their VFS vis email and they will update you with the process

Have you contacted them? If so, which country? Also, do the stamp on the spot or does it take a few days? I'm interested in this, are you planning on going for this approach?

you give people assurances for something which is incorrect. IRCC through their twitter account has clarified that you can not send passport to other vfs/embassy for stamping. As there are lots of thread on IRCC handle, i need time to paste that. @wonderbly @fritchou @rogerdude1 can you chip in this

in a mean time if you have proof or link contrary to what IRCC has suggested, share that. If it is as easy as you suggest, PPR holder would just courier passports to nearby mission, that takes less than a week.

Exactly as I thought. Why would one travel to another country when they could just courier it. I've asked many people, they all said only for biometrics this is possible.

as far as i know u can send your passport to other VFS center if the ircc office is outside your country.

for example in Tunisia we have Tunis ircc office + embassy + vac
in libya there was Embassy and VAC but due to security reasons they stopped their services. so Libyan applicants must do their bio and send passports to Tunisia. because in IRCC website the vac and ircc for libya is Tunis.

even if your application was processes in ottawa for example and u are from Denmark for example. you need to send your passport to VAC denmark
