as @Naturgrl said you can't apply under SDS from UAE. Also, under non-SDS, you don't have to pay anything other than the deposit which is 500$ - !000$..

I can pay first sem fee and show my financials right ? Or will it increase the chances of success if i pay the GIC?
It does not matter you apply under SDS/NonSDS, if you could pay for your 1st year (2 semesters) of tuition fee and GIC, it will help to strengthen your financial ability which is a fundamental criterion to get Visa

Hello,

You are not eligible for the SDS category. Applications from the UAE especially for expatriates struggle to get approvals.

If possible, apply with the SDS requirements by still securing GIC (CIBC is more flexible), make tuition payment, and ensure you have a valid and legal immigration/resident status.

If your status will expire soon, renew or extend it before considering applying for your study permit. Another area of consideration is demonstrating good ties to your home country. If possible, apply from your home country.

Success!

honestly, i don't know if it will strengthen your application since many people get refusals based on the profile after paying as well.
all i am saying is, you don't have to worry about anything if your profile is good.

Not necessarily true. OP is a temporary resident in another country. This shows weak ties. This is on top of the fact that Pakistani citizens already have a high rate of refusal. Sometimes 'good profiles' aren't good enough
