Hey Guys,
I am posting it here for some guidance on what to do regarding my PGWP. I applied for PGWP on 22nd July 2020 after graduating a 2 year program. I understood that because of COVID processing times are off the chart so I remained patient. my study permit expired on 30th August 2020 and I accepted job offer on implied status. I have been working full-time for the company since last 9 months and they are on the edge too.

Its been almost 10 months for my PGWP but it still shows we are reviewing your eligibility. My ATIP request shows that they have verified my credentials with my college but still no positive response.

My timeline is as follows:
-I came to Canada in Sep 2016 and started my 2 masters program.
-Due to some circumstances, I wasn't able to clear my grad course and also didn't clear the supplementary course. My university told me on 30th Sep 2017 in fall semester that I can not study in the school as I wasn't able to clear the courses. They put me in open standing.
- I was devastated and didn't know what to do as there was no guidance. I still went to university and started looking for other programs. Meanwhile, I came to know that my IELTS was expired so, I started preparing for it using university resources. I got admission for September 2018 but didn't want to show gap in my education so got enrolled in a private college.
- I started studying in that college from January 2018 and studied till august 2018. I renewed my study permit based on offer letter from another college which was goinfg to start in September 2018.
-I studied in that college and graduated with very good grades, I applied for PGWP based on completion of my this college diploma and transcript.

I only mentioned last received diploma in the form for PGWP and didn't mention any previous education as there was no space.

Could anyone give advice on how to proceed in this matter?

Thank you for your help!!

Thats a reason why your application stuck on eligibility, i guess they might be doing additional verification. Considering you were withdrawn from the previous DLI and enrolled to a new one which you completed. To VO perspective there is no information from Sep 2016 to Jan 2018 and because you did not declare the period in question when you applied your PGWP. Now, what were you doing during this time? Did you continue working after your Uni withdrew you?

Well, I was doing my research for next place to study and also preparing for IELTS. I was working 10 hours a week during that time. I can provide all the documents but they haven't asked anything and the buddy on phone says that your application looks perfectly fine.

I dont mean to be negative but you did not meet conditions of your SP soon after withdraw from your DLI. During that time, you were not suppose to work even 1 hr of pay including during scheduled break. Normally, and in most case, VO may compile file and make decision and onus on you when you appeal incase of negative decision. It may take time to source information from other agencies, your schools and potential place you worked. I wouldnt want to trust agent over the phone as they may have limited information and can give you general reply. It could be because of the pandemic or could be something is not good with your file… but 10months for pgwp applied from within Canada is strange, it shouldnt take that long as pgwp is the easiest application in terms of time.

I understand. I am an open-minded person so its ok to state your opinion. I didn't withdraw rather I was told I can't attain any classes 1 month into fall semester. Also, I forgot to mention other thing. Initially, I had my friend's Ontario address to receive PGWP as I wasn't sure where I would find my job. I changed my address in December 2020 and attached employment letter with pay stubs to the file. At that time, Agent informed me that your file might get delayed because of change of address from Ontario to BC.

Thanks for being open-minded. I dont think change of address can cause delay as your timeline is you applied in July 2020 and changed your address Dec 2020 ( approx 6months while processing time is 42days ) and it is almost another 6 months after you changed address.

My GCMS notes shows that IRCC contacted my college to verify my credentials & college responded that diploma is legit. I have also applied for TR to PR under international stream. On date of my application, the processing time was 90 days and it increases as high as 193 days till February 2021. That's why I was being patient but now I am not comfortable with this wait. Any suggestions on what should I do?

Yes, The processing times were as high as 193 days in January-February 2021. I am waiting on AOR from IRCC for my PR application. I applied on 6th May 2021. Some people have started receiving AOR's.

Im lost with the year, you mean you applied May 2021 but processing time is Feb 2022, you wrote 2021. You may want to read guideline for dual intent as you have two applications active now

Sorry for creating confusion, I meant I applied for PGWP in July 2020 and processing times for PGWP were as high as 193 days in January-February 2021.They are 42 days as of now. Also, I read the guidelines for TR to PR pathway-International Graduate stream and it said that I can apply under implied status.

Thats correct you can apply. Now considering outcome of your pgwp is not good as expected, you will need to change status to visitor while waiting determination of your PR application. If outcome is positive, you will have your pgwp but validity will be from the day you completed your program, techncally lost one year already and pgwp is issued once in lifetime

Ya. I was doing some reading and found out that work experience gained during implied status counts towards your Canadian work experience as long as you submitted your PGWP application before expiration of your study permit.
