Pcc from saudi

I am a Indian student in Canada.I am planning to apply for the tr to pr program. I have a doubt about PCC for my wife. She worked in saudi arabia for 5 years and got exit from saudi on March 2021cand came back to India. As currently she is not having any status in Saudi arabia, do i need to get her pcc from saudi arabia or only from India?

Saudi Arabia issues PCC only for current residents or to its citizens, when you apply PR you need to enclose a letter of explanation.if IRCC still need you to submit then they will provide you a letter asking for Saudi PCC then you can apply with that but initially you don't have to submit. I did the same when I applied mine

If you do not have current legal residence status in Saudi Arabia, you are not required to provide a Saudi Arabian police certificate. If you are asked for a police certificate from Saudi Arabia, write: “I cannot provide a police certificate for the time I spent in Saudi Arabia because certificates are only available to people who have current legal residence status.”
