There is a very good chance your file may already be in progress. Once you see the status of your citizenship application, go ahead and call IRCC, they can provide you with your application number. You can register with your application number and UCI, and track the progress of your application in more detail in this new website

Thanks a million. I was able to find my UCI with my PR email and logged in! So stoked!!!! Apparently they sent me the AOR and a study book on August 20th and started processing the application on October 27, 2020.

So if I call IRCC they will tell me my application number?

Got my GCMS as of May 10. Test passed March 25.

This is what I've, if someone call help me to understand

Eligibility -
Residence, language, prohibitions shows not started due - Aug 30, 2021
Knowledge - Passed - Mar 26, 2021

Then in the bottom, I have these

Paper file - test ready

Paper file history -

History# 1 - Test ready
History # 2 - Clearance pending
History # 3 - Registry
History # 4 - Pending
History # 5 - CST

Anyone help me to understand if this is just stuck and not doing anything?

I guess it is just waiting post test for someone to pick up to finalize processing. I am also waiting for a while like many others for next steps post test, it is just another waiting game now.

That's good to know. I called them last week and they said I will have to wait for the next step. I hate this waiting game

looks like your background checks are pending. I wouldn't worry; give it another 2 weeks! IRCC are the laziest employees, it is too much work for them to restart a process. It looks like your officer is confident enough to let you write your exams and let clearance run! Hang in there. Almost at the finish line.

What does it say for your background check on the new tracker? Is it in progress or completed. If the tracker says background is completed than it should be completed.

On my tracker it says completed for background verification.

Language, physical presence, prohibition shows in progress.

With stuff opening back up (Alberta is even aiming to lift all covid measures by early July), do you guys think that IRCC will go back to in-person oath ceremonies? If so, do you think that would delay the process even further? I would imagine they can do more people at the same time through virtual ceremonies. Maybe they'll let us choose?

Virtual ceremonies are here to stay. I don't think they will take a risk of doing it in person.

I don't get why your residency, language and prohibition shows not started when tracker shows IP? Either the notes are incorrect or the tracker.
