What action are you planning to take against the Consultant. It's been over 2 years, what discussions have you had with them in that period? Have they accepted fault in your case?

It is very complex when you are trying to challenge or request reconsideration for a ban. You can only progress with a immigration lawyer. And collecting evidence against your consultant is a task.
He didn't tell me about the ban and said you got simply refusal ..till the time my ielts had expired so last month I took test in order to reapply when I apply the caips then I came to know I got banned .
Now I will collect all the evidence which I provide to the consultant like embassy fee receipt and all that ..
As everyone is asking, did you include the form as part of your application to declare that you were using a consultant? If not, I don't see how this is going to work out for you. You'll just have to sit out the 5 year ban.
If I apply to another countries then will I have to face any difficulty because of ban ?
The answer is YES: you will face some difficult if they have infor sharing tools.
We can have this thread for so long. Filling the form now wont help anything and submitting evidence to the embassy wont help either. Be smart, hire lawyer and see if the lawyer can challenge the ban and have it lifted… Your direct communication with the Embassy was when you were served PFL which you did not respond for whatsover reason,now your direct communication should be between you and the lawyer… not Visa office

Your agent conned you, it's as simple as that. Not sure what else you are looking for. You are responsible for the actions of your agent which IRCC website clearly warns you about. They are a representative of you and their actions represent yours as if you made them. Maybe you will learn from this experience about not trusting incompetent agents (of any kind of business)
There is a famous saying, "If you want something done right, do it yourself". It's very true. No-one will have your best interests at heart besides yourself so why would you trust someone else with such a crucial process? Maybe at least vet them. And did you not get suspicious after waiting 2 YEARS? Something to think about
