hey guys how many of you are mid 2020 applicants and your criminality is still in process? My security is done but criminality is still in progress due to which my Bcakground verifications are still in progress. Anyone currently in the same situation as I am in ?

This wait is killing me, first, they made us wait for the test and now they are not moving on any background checks after getting the test done.
BC has the lowest covid cases and still no activity on files.

Yesterday only 8 officers showed up at their Expo blvd location for work in the morning... apparently the rest is "working from home" but we all know how this "working form home" looks like (Netflix, hikes, TV, cooking...). It's going to take forever :(

As per my post from yesterday in this thread - My friend went to stand in front of IRCC building in Vancouver, yesterday from 7:40am to 8:15am (they are supposed to be open from 8:00am) so it was pretty easy for him to count what was going on.

I am not sure how that's possible, but I feel like they haven't updated these sections at all and I am assuming finally one day the officer will open the file and will just acknowledge these and they will change to done, I don't think this really shows the true representation of where the file is.

UPDATE from Vancouver: I was just asked to provide "scanned copies or photos of all passport(s) and travel document(s) pages held during your five (5) years eligibility period".

Do you think it means it will slow down my discriminated application once again?
Also, I assume all stamps must be translated by an official translator, right?

Other details in my signature below...

That's a good sign. These are the documents you're required to present during your interview, which serves as a confirmation of your identity and a review of your physical presence eligibility. Your next step will be the Oath (provided your fingerprints aren't expired).

Congratulations!

This is a very standard request for Citizenship interview. Yes, you should get all the stamps that are not in English or French translated.

Thanks, I’ll make it translated! Also FYI I haven’t been invited for an interview and also never asked to provide finger prints.

Then this might be a new workflow where they don't invite the applicant for the interview but they simply ask for passport pages for verification.
