I just found the process. Posting here for benefit of those who need it:
Link of college website to start the process:

Link with details as how this college will send documents to WES i.e. through docwallet

Thank you so very much Deepak. If not for these links, I would've been clueless. Here's my experience:
1. Using DOCSWALLET, I applied for a verification at the university. You need to mention the WES reference number and the marksheets(Semester wise/ Consolidated) in a pdf format and pay for the verification charges.
Note : Once you have uploaded the documents, make sure they are properly uploaded on the server. There could be instances where the document will be shown on the preview but will never be available for access at the user's end. The university after taking 10-long working days might conveniently decline the request stating "No Document was attached or Image not found, etc". You need to request for a refund and then reinitiate the process again.(which you can avoid if checked in advance).
2. After being verified, the same document that you have uploaded will be available on your DOCSWALLET account indicating that it's been verified. Here's the tricky part. You need to pay for DOCSWALLET to have this digital document shared with WES. It costs around $ 75 for a document.
Note: Once the payment is done, you can have the document shared WES. Please be informed that if there are any other document(s) that are either declined or not verified, the original document that you have shared might be in pending state. Hence, share the verified document alone. In case if you do not receive any updates, please contact the support of Docswallet.
3. Upon successful sharing of the document, you would receive an update from WES indicating they have received the document. From here, it was a breeze. It took less than a week for WES to evaluate and share the report. You would also receive periodic updates from them if you're using their app based on the status.
Overall, it was a hassle-free process to get my credentials evaluated via digital means. Else, I would have spent a lot of time chasing people at the university.
