Hello,
I am looking to apply for my in-law supervisa. I am canadian citizen and my husband is on PR.
my question is my inlaws have visitor visa to canada. they also have visitor visa to USA and they indian citizen.
they are planning to visit USA for 6 months from mid FEB.
can they apply for supervisa while they are in USA or they have to be in india??
can their mailing and contact address be in USA and once they return to india, we can change the contact info?

plus the income requirment that my husband and I need to have, does that have to be shown for one year or three years? or since my husband just came to canada - can we have employment letters to show his income

Would suggest they apply from India because they need to show that they have enough ties that they will return home.

Hello Friends,

Can I show the proof of funds for Super Visa for my parents in the form of Stocks, RRSP, TFSA, and some funds in a bank checking account?

Or only the funds in the bank account will be considered as the proof of funds for Super Visa?

Also, Recently from Canada, I travelled to my home country. Before submitting the super visa application for my parents, should I wait until I am physically present in Canada again or I can submit the super visa application while I am in my home country temporarily?
Parents are off course in the home country.

No it must be income. I see you have applied for spousal sponsorship so I hope this was a short visit of 2-3 weeks. They can submit their supervisa while you are abroad if you meet the income on your NOA.

Just read your post and it seems as though you have been living in India since December 2020. The income you earned may not count towards LICO because you haven’t been living in Canada. Have you been keeping a home while you have been living in India? Are you sure you remain a tax resident? Given how long you have been out of Canada you should definitely return to Canada before your parents attempt to apply for a supervisa.
