apply TRV within Canada and get stamping in India

Hi,
I need a advice. Currently I am on work permit. On the basis of my work permit, I applied for TRV while I was in Canada. But then because of some family emergency, i had to travel to India before the approval. Last month I received the PPR request. As I applied for TRV in canada but received approval while I am India, can I send my passport for stamping in India?
I did raise multiple webform to ottawa office, to get authorization to send my passport to dehi office for stamping. But no respond till now. It’s more than a month now. I made multiple calls to IRCC but no solution. Please suggest if I can send my passport for stamping to office in Delhi.

Did you get reply from IRCC that it is on hold?

I called. They said Case processing officer wont issue a COPR until I go back to Canada. Everything was approved by the end of January. I applied to PR in July, 2020.

Not yet. I have a US Visa. I am thinking of going there in order to transfer my Visa application from New Delhi visa office to the one in US. I think the processing time is 45 days over there. I don't know if that is a good idea. My file has passed more than 150 days.

oh ok. I am in the same situation as well. I got copr portal email after reply so far no response seems in my case as well they put it on hold.

Is US allowing visitor visa holders from India?

Not yet, but soon. I think it is better than letting my work permit expire in India.

Due to covid offices are closed or have limited staffing. When the offices open up again and so does VFS you should be able to get stamping.

But do I need a authorisation/ permission letter from canada or from india office that I can send my passport to delhi office for stamping as currently I am in India?

You must send a webform asking to get stamping in India because you are in currently in India. You will then be contacted when you are able to get stamping and then will have to follow the directions to courier your passport.

I did send multiple webform and emails, its more than a month now. No response till now. Can i just send passport with ppr and an explanation letter to delhi for stamping, if i get no response from ottawa office, because i cannot wait much, my work permit will get expire in August

No you can't send your passport and VFS is closed so you couldn't send it if you wanted to.

Can i send it, once vfs will open. I will send through vfs. But do I really need authorisation letter for stamping or just ppr and passport will be enough because I am not getting any response from ottawa office that i can send it to delhi office for stamping as I am india now
