Hello, I've been watching this forum for a long time. I learnt a lot from here. But, haven't posted anything. I applied for WES ECA and currently preparing for IELTS.

I'm having the work experience in following way in my Primary NOC Code 2173(Software Engineers and Designers).

Feb 2020 to June 2021 - 1 year 5 months continuous work experience
Nov 2019 to Jan 2019 - 3 months - Gap
Apr 2019 to Oct 2019 - 7 months continuous work experience

Am I eligible to claim 11 Points under 2-3 years work experience category in the Canada 67 Points Calculator.

I'm confused as it says "In the last 10 years, how many years of skilled work experience do you have? It must have been continuous, paid, full-time (or an equal amount in part-time), and in only one occupation"

I'm very much worried because I can't reach the 67 points if I can't claim which makes me ineligible.

You have one year continuous to be eligible. You have two years experience.
Thanks for your reply. Do you mean I can select "two to three years" for the question "In the last 10 years, how many years of skilled work experience do you have? It must have been continuous, paid, full-time (or an equal amount in part-time), and in only one occupation " in the 67 points calculator.

I'm checking using the "Check your eligibility" button in the below link.

You have 2-3 years. You will need employment letters for each job with match to NOC.

That is a relief. Actually, this is my Primary NOC 2173. I have employment letters too.

I have previous experience for a different NOC too along with this . I can understand that I can accumulate the work experiences for multiple NOCs for calculating CRS scores.

But, I'm confused with this 67 Points eligibility as it asks for continuous work experience in only one NOC. If I'm selecting "one year" in the dropdown, it is saying "You're not eligible to apply" at the end. If I'm selecting "two to three", It says "You seems to be eligible" and giving me a reference number.

So, my understanding is that only one year need to be continuous. After that one year I can add any more experience even if there is a gap in employment and select "2-3 years" in the question dropdown.

If you have 2 years then select “2-3”. You want a CRS score of 470+
